About a month ago after getting input from you guys I purchased a 1989 250 Cummins. Yesterday I was exiting from the interstate, looked down and the oil pressure light was on and the gauge was reading low, I knocked it into neutral and the light went out. When I got home I went straight to the TDR website and did a search on oil light and found out that this is a normal problem. I bought a temp, oil, and volt gauge and installed. Cold idle oil pressure was 88 psi, operating idle pressure was 22 psi, water temp 190f. I'm relieved to know that this website is available and would like to thank all that assist others with their problems. What a brotherhood we have. Be safe and thanks again.
