I just installed an HX40 and I was wondering if the pressure for the oil supply for the turbo is the actual operating pressure or is it regulated somehow. The reason for asking is the oil drain didn't go together quite as easily as the 35 and while it seems to be holding with no problems now I don't the hose on the bottom to blow off. I'm sure someone else has had this worry before and I'd appriciate any feedback you can give me.

Gator, The Oil Drain should of hooked right up. If not then you need to "Clock" the Turbo. Email me for more help or call me at the shop on monday 505-534-0434 L8tr Kurt.

If it's not leaking now you should not have to worry. Just keep a eye on it. There is no pressure on the Drain line.

I hope you have everything hooked up right, and nothing is leaking. I hate it when I have to worry about things like that. Any way so you know, I monitor the pressure side of the oil feed line to the turbo. I see's alot more pressure then the factory dash guage shows, I don't if it's because then take their oil pressure reading in a different place, or if it's not that accurate? Any way I see readings consistantly higher, about 10 psi higher at ideal, and at highway speeds it reads 75-80 psi. Hope this helps? Good luck.

Gator,

Clocking the turbo is VERY easy. I had never heard of it. Bought Kurt's KSB1B, called him, he explains it very well, easy to do.

Great guy to deal with too!
