Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) oil pressure question

Yesterday got into the rig and turned on the key. I noticed the oil pressure gauge started going up with the fuel gauge! Whoa, here. went right up to top of operating range. Is the oil pressure sensor bad or something else? Help

If your truck had the reflash to "fix" the oil pressure sender then its completly normal. The "fix" was to make the oil pressure read normal when there was no signal or a bad sender. If you have not had the reflash then I have no idea since a bad sender usually means no oil pressure.
