Oil Pressure readout

I had a 2016 EcoD that I traded for my 2017 2500 CTD. The oil pressure displayed on the Eco D was a calculated value. It had no bearing in reality.

Does the CTD have a real pressure display?

No it doesn't. it has a pressure switch for the low pressure warning light. The numeric value you see is an algorithm.

Indeed the oil pressure reading is a lie. Been since 1998 in all Dodge and Ram trucks. It's also a lie on Ford Power Strokes since at least '06.
