I have the Westach gauges in my truck. With all of the talk lately of false oil pressure readings, I decided to install another gauge. I found this Westach gauge. P/N 2DC3-69W. Follow this link

It is a combo Oil Pressure/Water Temp. It should match the combo Boost/EGT I think. Has anyone purchased one of these? I have emailed Geno's about availability and pricing including the sending units.

Where is the best place to tap for the oil pressure and water temp sending units? I suppose I could tee off of the factory units for both, right?

Thanks,

Chris

I have both, though I use my oil pressure port for a oil temp gauge. On top of the oil filter housing is a 1/8" NPT plug, remove it and place your oil pressure sender there. I ended up using a "T" fitting on that port, so that could feed the Frantz filter and still monitor oil temp. For water temp, I used a 1/4" NPT hex head plug on the block, just behind the housing for the thermostat. I reduced the fitting to 1/8" NPT and placed my sender in that port. Works well, though the temps are somewhat lower than what you see on the OEM gauge. Let me know if you need pics. , I can snap a few for you.
