Oil pressure?

Several weeks back I noticed that my '99 seems to be running a little higher than usual oil pressure. These 2nd Gen trucks don't have the most definitive gauges but when I see an idle pressure @ 40 and @ 1500 RPM about 50 seems out of the ordinary. Vacuum pump seems fine and no blow by coming out of the oil cap. The oil has about 1500 miles on it and other than the sending unit I can't think of what else it might be. Any ideas, test suggestions is greatly appreciated...thanks

If I remember going down the road and up to temp it is 40ish. Startup cold maybe 50ish. You could probably put a mechanical gauge at the filter port on passenger front to compare readings. If high
