Oil Pressure ?

Started my truck and oil pressure came up like it normally does. About five seconds later the warning chime sounded and the oil pressure went to zero. I’m looking at the gauge wondering what the heck is going on and the oil pressure comes back to normal. About five seconds later it does the same thing again. It has done this five or six times over the last month. Does this only when the truck is warm. I’m sure that the oil pressure isn’t going away because it returns to normal so fast. Anybody have any ideas what it might be. If it is the oil pressure switch where is it located. Thanks, Jeff

This is a very common problem. My truck does the same thing- it is the oil pressure sending unit. Replace that and it should clear things up nicely.
