Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) oil sensor

i have a problem. went to three differnent dealers to get an oil sensor switch and they denied warranty. truck has less than 100,000 but they said it is not a cummins covered part. is this true? what can i do? what is the part number and where do it get it from.

I purchased and installed sensor #4088390 in my '99. Pressure acts as it should, varies with engine speed and temperature as expected. This is the correct part. I got it at a Cummins Distributor for $69 and change.
