Also what gasket should I use. (Stock, 10 thou copper, 20 thou copper??)Boost will be around 50 - 60 psi with the twins.

Copper

I recently had my copper jump up from the last oil sample. I think it went from like 30 to 70 ppm. My oil had 16k on it at that sample so I changed it. The lab stated that due to my low overall miles (37k on truck) that is was probably normal break in copper from seals, gaskets etc. I hope this is it. We'll see in another 5k when I sample my new oil again to see whats going on.

Dont know about the sodium, mine was low. OAI lists sodium as a contaiminat (Duh) from engine coolant or an oil additve, but thats all they say.

Hope this helps

Make sure you sample again before tearing into it. There's always faulty tests here and there, samples can be contaminated and such; happens in any kind of field that uses lab work. It's a long shot but it's cheap and will either validate or contratict the previous sample.

I'm planning a . 020" marine gasket w/ o-rings. Strickland runs 80+ w/ o-ring and 12mm studs. good 'nuff for me! :D

I wouldn't run copper on a truck that's going to see more street miles than track miles!
