Oil Temp Gauge

I Bought 3 gauge setup when I had an Auto Trans. Now with my 6 spd I am going to use the Trans temp gauge for an Oil temp gauge. If the sender is put in the top of the filter housing won't this show oil temp about as well as anywhere? (a plug is already there)

You can use that source, it work fine, i have done it before. You will need some sort of adaptor though since most senders are much bigger then that hole plug.

Yep Don, that will work fine. I have mine there, I believe the plug is 1/8 npt.

Well Good, at least something has gone well today. My sender is 1/8 npt. so it should fit. I installed gauges and a Pac Brake and it took me 2 DAYS. ! It was just one thing after another. The instructions for the Pac Brake were great. I just has a bad case of Brain Fade I guess. I will button it up in the morning.
