Oilguard users, be advised

when changing my filter today i notice that the cap/plug on the bottom end of the filter that is set in, was broken free and just hanging inside the element itself, letting all the oil to flow through. i am trying to get ahold of oilguard to make them aware of the issue and to see if they will send me a replacement. the filter had 10,000 miles on it.

How did you attatch the oil guard mount to the frame? I have an 07 and the frame is completely enclosed. I am working on a bolt on bracket. W

i attached it to the outside frame rail on the pass. side. it worked out great, up and out of the way. not very thrilled with what i found on that filter i changed out though.
