After recently getting onto a dyno for the first time, I have finally had time to study the graph print out of the results. And I do realize that dyno results are subject to a wide range of criticism, so with that asside I had a few thoughts.

According to the graph my HP shoots up fairly quickly, then somewhat levels off almost to redline where it gradually drops down. Whereas my torque shoots almost straight up to a narrow peak around 2000-2100 rpm then drops down almost as fast as it came up approaching redline.

My big question is how does one "broaden" the torque curve? My mod list is quite short, so there is likely a bomb I could strap on that'll do the trick, what is it?

Keep in mind, I am satisfied with 900 tq and am not looking for more, just want to widen the rpm range at which that is achievable.

I may try to scan in the printout, but it's a really poor quality print.

Im not a pro buy any means but a diff fuel plate might to the trick.

A buddy has a sim. tuck it just has a Piers towing plate and he makes a nice tork curve from about 1200 all the way to red line.

As for me I have a DD 007 and its just real peakey. Might be worth a call to Piers?

Hmmm, water/meth comes to the rescue again. I'm still keeping that in mind after a few bills get out of my way.

The dyno was at PFI in Fort Collins, CO It's a Dynojet somethin-er-other. I was one of about 40 +/- diesel trucks that ran that day.

On most of the trucks around the torque and HP lines run together. Seems to be the timing Jeff puts in .
