I got some $$, and I want to help out my truck a bit. I see the Smarty and DDP 50hp injectors are about the same price, which one should I go for?

If you have $ 1st of all don't tell your oLd LaDy, then git, SAMRTY, GAUGES! ! ! AFE intake, Bigger Turbo, pusher pump and B0B4X4 could think about several more items that could Bankrupt you before you even know it :{ , He is the best and he works on my truck only and noody else lays a finger on it. :p

Guages, then transmission, then boxes and turbo, then lift-pump (perhaps before boxes and turbos),. Injectors and cp3 mods should be last.

There are no Mach injectors for 3rd gens, F1 offers "flux injectors" for the 3rd gens. I left out exhaust and intake mods because they are small fry dollar wise compared to most other mods.

I dont think they make mach 4 or 5 injectors for 2006 CTD.

Since you asked what you should do first I'd get a Smarty and if you want to run it on a higher settings you will have to change and spend alot more $$$ on other things like gauges, turbo, transmission upograde

I didnt look @ his signature, oops, ok, smarty but I didnt mean to get all that other goodies b4 GAUGES, I meant for him to get it all done @ 1time, since he has the cash in HAND :(

I would put money in a transmission first. :) Gages should be right up there though. Then performance adders. Probably get the electronics power adders first, unless you think your going BIG(200+) you don't really need injectors.

I'd say (in order): radio, gauges, tires and suspension, transmission, turbo then power. Power last. Bring the rest of the truck up to the standards of the stock engine, then have fun with power. It is pointless to up-rate the engine with stock auto. Power won't get to the ground. Stock turbo is pretty much maxed out on stock motor.

If you are married, you guys are doing it all wrong. If he does the transmission 1st his wife wont let him spend anymore money to make HP. So this is what you do, Add all the HP, smoke the trans and then she cant stop you from getting it "fixed" by your choice of high performance trans shops. :-laf If you are single, break out the credit card and do it all at once. :D
