One person hears it, believes it, and convinces another. That's how rumors work, and the Cummins having PM rods is no different. The only reason you believed it was because it came from a "knowledgeable source. " Remember, Ford salesmen are also "knowledgeable" when they tell you that Ford owns Cummins. "

Now with a new engine after the original came to a (noisy) halt on 7/23/04 with 14772 miles.
