Fireman, strangest thing in a structure fire

Well it seems that the gasser that I drove before was also a cancer causer. Besides the first thing you learn in statisics is how to skew the facts to show what you want.

As usual, figures don't lie, but liars do figure.

That article was *very* carefully worded to present the possibility of strong evidence. yet the report itself states that the figures are too uncertain to allow any reasonable computation of health risk.

Nothing more than the usual enviro-thug scare tactics. Show me the raw, hard, conclusive facts and I'll make my own determination.

On a related note, what will this new almost Sulfur free fuel do to our poor little VP44's? Does anyone know when the new low-low sulfur fuel will hit the market? By the way, after reading about diesel causing cancer I quit sucking on my tail pipe after start-up in the morning. It was almost as hard as quiting smoking ;)

In Abraham Lincoln's words, "There are lies, there are d@mned lies, and then there are statistics. " How long has this been going on - I can remember "studies" regarding classification of diesel particulates as a carcinogen from 10 or more years ago!

How can anything that smells so good be bad for you? :D

So you mean it's a bad thing for me to start my truck in the garage each morning without opening the garage door? Now how am I going to get my concentrated morning dose of diesel exhaust??

I miss the old days of walking onto bus lot at 6 in the morning greeted by the sound and the smell of 50 idling Cummins engines. A better wakeup than coffee...

Cancer researchers have been looking into links between milk drinking and cancer risk for many years. A review published by the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research in 1997 found that cancer risk paralleled milk consumption in numerous studies.

So now, as you drive down life's highway in your cancerous exhaust emitting CTD, chug-a-lug a pint of your favorite brand of moo juice!

We are all going to die! OMG!

My wife told me of that "study" yesterday with...

smile on her face.

I promptly replied, I am sure that is true, but... . gasoline exhaust, in a confined space, does not take near as long to kill you .
