Hello to all,
I am the lucky one that bought Piers truck. It was not at all like some of you are thinking. Piers has helped me build my truck over the years (which is no slug). I recently had a baby and found the standard cab to be too tight. I was talking with Piers about my truck and mentioned that I really want a 98 12v Quad Cab. He replied why don't you buy mine. This was about three months ago. A price was agreed on about 6 weeks ago and the rest is history.
Know the good news for all of us here on the East coast is that we finally get to see the beast. (I just own it) Therefore in order to honor Piers and BD I will try to make it available for others to see. So any of you in the NorthEast give me a ring or E-mail. (603)532-2240. I will proudly display the BD symbol for all time. In closing for once in my life I just happen to be in the right place at the right time. I am extremely eager to receive the truck. It should be here by the end of the month. I am therefore selling my 94 standard cab 4x4 auto. , so if anyone is interested I can send you the specs on it. I hope I can do the burnout justice!!!

Where do I start, I guess with a big THANKYOU to everyone expressing their concerns & offers to help. Not sure if youall were more concerned with me losing my truck or the fact that I would be driving a Ford #ad

I knew my time left with this truck was limited, it was the oldest truck in BD's fleet. Would I have liked to keep it, yep. But **** happens & you deal with what you can & try and not let the rest drive you crazy.
As far as the Ford thing goes, I like a challenge & this is going to be a big one #ad
Will I ever get a powerstroke to perform like a Cummins... I like to dream, but i'm well aware of reality. I don't feel that motor would live at 50+ lbs of boost, but it will be interesting to see how far one can push a powerstroke before it goes boom #ad

As for BD getting big bucks for the truck, consider this. 1998 12valve 4x4 quad cab short box. Full load including leather.

The 24valve intercooler flows better than the 12valve one. Oh I remember now, my original one was cracked so I "had" to replace it #ad
