How do I get the threads I've already read to turn color?

Why not just "view new posts" when you enter the RoundTable



I think the color changing option is dependent on the server options

I've noticed that if the java script in my browser is turned off then the treads don't change color if you have viewed them.

I always thought they only changed colors if there are 15 or more posts. Unread post has an open envelope, after you read it the envelope closes. This happens without logging off.

On the puter at work, when I view a post (or forum) it changes to a purple color. My last computer did the same. This one dont.

I just thought there was a setting to change this??

I dont know anything about java, other than the type you drink.



I have questions about setting up Outlook Express, but I'll work on one problem at a time.

Bill, on the OE, when I was installing it, it asked what port is being used for ingoing and outgoing mail (question was much more technical, but that's what I understanded it to ask?) just above the two blank areas to enter this info, was "POP3" highlighted.

Me being extremely computer illiterate figured how in the hell can they expect me to know this sh*t? Must be POP3... . so that's what I entered. Suprise of suprises... it dont work.

I've been trying to get back to this page, and I cant find it, so I cant get more specific.

Any ideas?
