My wife recently complained of clutch problems on her 96 explorer. Upon further investigation I found her to be very low on fluid for her clutch (5 speed hydraulic). It shifts better now, but she has told me the feel of the clutch pedal does not feel the same. I was wondering if it is possible that air got in the system, and it now needs to be bled. If it does, how is this done, there is nothing to allow me to bleed it in the circuit.

They're probably gonna move this one to the "Other" section because it doesn't involve a diesel at all. While I'm here I figure I might as well answer it. I had a Toyota Celica years back with the same problem. Time was the only solution to the pedal feel problem. The fluid was aerated and it took days for it to feel the way it should.
