but i don't know much about this. it doesn't look like rocket science (yep, i did work on launch pad 39b post challenger)... . where to buy an egt guage? what kind? what i really need is a kit with everything in it with destructions.

oh, btw did i say that if you haven't got a sprayed in bedliner, you need to purchase one tomorrow:D

Scott,

now that for some reason you know that gages are manditory:cool: get your Geno's catalog out and take a looksie, they are in there and they wont lead you astray, give them a call and BOMB it:eek: :D

Yes , I need a spray in bed liner tooooooo... ... ... . Kevin

Scott

Check DIS for them too. They had the best price i could find. Shipped quick too. :D Mine just came in. Autometer Ultra-lites in a triple A-Pillar:cool: Gauges came with all the hardware, senders, instructions, etc. Best installation instructions for CTD's are on the TST site. (where to put pyro probe, boost fitting, etc. )

Was done with install in about 2 hours, really simple.

are you saying that the sprayed in liner is so much better than the OEM that I should throw away the liner that is in the truck and get a sprayed in liner????

YES.

i gave my oem liner to a local buy-here-pay-here car dealer... .

mine is now dried and the wife and i busted up our existing sidewalk- big pieces of concrete - and threw them in the back of the truck... . this crap is tough. no nicks at all... .

I really enjoy my Rhino spray in liner, tough as nails and keeps things from sliding around.

Nice thing about gauges, you can appreciate them while driving. If you keep an eye on your bedliner while driving it could cause problems.

:--)

I'm not sure if your truck has the useless little square hole in the dash. If it does ,get Westach's combo gauge and fill it in. About 2 bills from Geno's. Clean looking

I just installed a complete guage set including the center mount pod. from -- email address removed --

The install is about 4-5 hours including the manifood tapping and the PE Comp. . I am sure with practice, I could cut that down,

He provided everything I need accept the wire for the guage lites,

Tap the 5A fuse for the light dimmer.

The guages are isopro EV series, exhaust, transmission oil, and 40 pound manifol pressure.
