OK Steve, here's what I want to do...

So I come on the site and click on the "view new posts" link. As I'm cruising through what I've missed I find something that just really needs my imput. I reply and it takes me to my post. So from here how do I get back to where I left off in my search list? Do I have to go back to the homepage and start over? It's just a pain to go bach through them when I was already on page 6 out of 12 and of course I can't remember where I was. Thanx.

Use the back button of your browser to go back. If you're using IE click on the down arrow right next to the back button and you can skip the reply page you were on.

You have to click the back button a few times. One will take you to the "expired page" message, another to the reply page, another time to original thread, and once more to the original list of new posts!

Yeah, but that's the only way to go back the way your saying... and I'm pretty sure Steve will back me up in saying so.



I feel your pain on the 22K. Been there done that..... actually got DSL now!!

Don't click on the back button - click on the small down arrow next to the back button and then click on the line that says "TDR Roundtable - Search Results" - it'll be the 4th one or so down the list. That'll take you straight to that page.

Yeah what he said... . duh! forgot about that since I use AOhell more than Internet Explorer.

Or, the option I use, right click on the Post Reply link and choose 'Open in New Window'. Hammer out your reply, submit, then close that window. In the original window just click back and go about your business.



That's the method I've been using to maintain my place in the search list without have to go back past the Reply page.



Hitting the down arrow works too, as that's my backup plan in case I forget to open the reply in a new window.
