Well i just became part of the cr world. I traded in the 99 on a 06 mega cab. Im on dial up so reading every thread will take some time. What kind of things should i be on the look out for. This truck will be staying bone stock exept for the lift that will be going on next week.

Man, I didnt think anybody had dial-up anymore!!:-laf Just messing with ya... Welcome to the world of the Common Rail. Hopefully you like it and I doubt it will stay stock for long... If its going to be stock then just follow the maintnance manual that comes with the truck and you should be good. I went from my 2nd gen to 3rd gen and I love it. For the most part they are pretty reliable trucks.

If you're lifting the truck, keep an eye on your u-joints

Heck, I think there are some people that are still not using Digital cameras. LOL







Stock is pretty reliable. Change the oil and drive it. Watch the U-Joints. They are prone to failure even at stock height.

thanks guys. Ill watch the u joints. Yep. Only thing available out here is dial up or satalite and thats a little spendy. Besides i have wireless when im in the city(im not totally stone age) Well this is all good to here. No more lift pumps, vp44s, Ecms, trannys, ect, ect,. I would imagine a flight of bombers will be on the way about the time the odometer hits 99,000:-laf
