OK, what's the story on the turbo

I'm having trouble finding some information and hope someone out in TDR land can help. Which 2001 and 2002 trucks have the HY35 and which have the HX35?



One page on www.dodgeram.org claims that the ETC uses the HY35 no matter which transmission it is mated to, while another one says that the HY35 is only used on trucks with the automatic. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Keep me honest folks!



There were reports of 5-speed trucks with HY35's early in the production run (2001 trucks built in January and February 2000). Does anyone have one??
