they need to be brought back... ... . I'll bet the truck or car manufacture that does will STEAL the market..... and don't tell me it's about $$$ when these rigs cost what they do... ... ... . it's about market/product identity. There's a whole flock of younger folks who would go ape S#@$% over them... I know I would also... . and from a structural engineering standpoint it offers some real stiffening advantages and cost savings for interior window hardware, i. e. smaller main window (which now is square at the top) aligns/drives and seals better... . as well as venting the rig.

I wish my 06 had them because the HVAC system itself is pretty sub-par compared to most other full size trucks I've driven. Anyone figure out how to make the A/C work better yet?:-laf

I agree, I grew up and spent a good portion of my life with wing windows and as I understood the demise of the window it was a Fed thing. Just like the Mopar pushbutton trans which was also cool. At least with the wing window you could drive in the rain with it open and not get water in the vehicle. The roadrunner has wings and it is a blast from the past.
