Here I am

okay, how clearly does it have to state that I have a 60month/100,000 mile warranty?

I went to the local (5 star) dealer. I bought my truck in may or june, dont remember. I went to get the service history printed out. Dealer says, oops, your warranty is out. I was like WTF? It says 60 months or 100,000 miles. He said, no... It's gone. My truck was put into service on December 28th 2001. It has 57,400 miles on it. On its 4th lift pump already. Dealer also said he's never heard of the in tank lift pump retrofit. WTF x2? I just got stranded a month ago with a bad lift pump, had to replace it myself at my cost (got it for $161 from Napa). I dont deserve to be treated like that. WTFx3 I even went and had the oil/fuel filter changed right after I got the truck so that the dealer would have record if I needed my VP warrantied. WTFx4 it was $137 to have teh fuel filter changed and oil changed.

The 5yr/100K is on the Cummins engine only. That includes the VP and LP. I would not want the dealer putting the in-tank LP into my truck - FP is too low. Put a Carter pusher on by the tank instead - $89 off of Jegs or Summit. The engine LP can be had for about $15 more at the same places - 4600 and 4601 respectively.

Sounds like you need to verify the inservice date. Dec 01 is pretty late in the year - '02s were already on the lot in Aug/Sept timeframe and CTDs usually don't sit.

But if Dec 01 is correct, you've got over a year left or 42K miles.

I understand that part, I guess its 60months on the rust and emissions parts too, right?

My real concern was the dealer's unwillingness to work with me on my truck. I'm not going to change the oil there anymore either.
