I'm tired of my droopy, smoky, stinky, water stained headliner in Ol' E-Bay (the new to me '97 in sig below).

Shopped on the internet last night and came up with some decent prices but huge shipping costs.

Looked it up in my Dodge Affiliate System today and it came up at $144. 00 list right from Dodge!!

I say "Nay Nay, No Way" and call my dealer.

Well, it's true, brand new headliner from Dodge for $144. 00 list.

Fits 2nd Gen regular cab with overhead console. 30 on hand in Milwaukee.

Needless to say, I just ordered one. Will be here freight free in about a week and a half. Oo.

Moral of the story is don't assume the OEM stuff is more money without checking first... ... ... ..... I know that already as I work at a dealership, just wanted to spread the word.

It took me a few reads and a look at your sig to figure this out.:D

Some dealers around here are pretty good about giving out discounts with a minimum of creds. The others just dont see me much. :D

Sorry, just edited a few words in the origional post for clarification, try to do these in too much of a hurry sometimes.

With list being only $144. 00 that is the most that any dealer should or would charge for it.

I think it's a great deal compared to any alternative that I could find. :)

Cool! That's a lot less than I'd expect, but you still have to install it...

I've redone many headliners myself, at a cost of ~$60 and some hassle, but recently had the one in my club cab Ram done in a shop. I got a deal because of where I worked at the time, and I think I paid $90. The $30 DIFFERENCE WAS totally worth it, compared to doing it myself. Of course, this assumes your backing board is still good. Even without the good deal, I'd guess ~$120 would git 'r done and still probably be worth the cost.
