old diesel,new ULSD

I have a 1969 case 1030 diesel tractor, that still sees regular work. Should I add something to this new diesel fuel so I don't ruin anything in the fuel system? The tractor is still all original, and I would hate to see this new diesel hurt somthing on it.

Just treat the fuel with Lucus or some other fuel lube & it will be fine!!!!

I have barrels of used motor oil, will it hurt anything to use that?

IT must be filtered & blended in the fuel, there are a couple of companys that make a unit to do this for big trucks

Can you get off road diesel where you live? That's what I run in my tractor. It still has the sulfphur in it.

I can get offroad here, I guess I will use it. I thought all diesel was changing.

If offroad is not available,[or you do not have a spare tank to store it in]you can use #2 heating oil,but it will have sales tax on it. #2 is the exact same stuff from the exact same tank on the delivery truck,just taxed differently.
