Did Cummins Change Timing Spec?

Went to PHX. last week on a buying trip. Bought 2 5ers and a 94 Dodge 3500 CTD 5spd. Bolted in a 5th wheel that I had brought with me and hooked up to a M325 Excel 5th wheel. The ole girl had 159,000 miles on her and they could not tell me the last time the oil had been changed. 65 to 70 all the way home. 12 miles to the gallon and did not burn a drop of that dirty oil. These little Cummins engines never cease to amaze me. By the way if anyone needs a cheap dually... ... ... ... . I have it! Plain Jane, no tilt, cruise or cass. Rubber floor mats and tow mirrors. Make a good farm or ranch truck or a great drag racer! I bet it is light.

I know a Company here in town, actually two or three in the oilfield who would jump at such a truck.

Could you get pictures. ??

I have one company that would buy it NOW, if the price is right. .

I'll give ya a litte ring tomorow, or Moday sometime. I'm gonna ask what this guy would be willing to pay,, and what condition is acceptable.

Old Beater would be fine :D Just has to be reliable.

Thanks,

It's not reallly an "old beater". For a plane jane'94, it's a pretty nice truck. Red with grey interior. Ultra mags all the way around and good rubber. Cold A/C and Am/FM tunes. Swing out stainless tow mirrors. 3:54 gears. Bolt action trannie. And until I did a temp 5th wheel install to pull the fiver home, it had never even had a gooseneck ball in the bed. Pump is turned down to 2500. :D
