Just to recap. I am working on a 69 Ford F600,330 V8 with the small 4spd. I do have a 4spd out of a 71 F350 360 V8. When both transmissions are on the bench together the bellhousing bolts are vary different. Starting with the P. T. O. or passenger side of both transmissions. From the center of the top bolt hole to the bottom bolt hole center on the F350 is 6 and 3/8th inches. Wile the the F600 is only 3 inches. The other side of both trans are different as well. Please help I need this truck for fire prevention!!!!!

If they are both 435 New Process transmissions, you can put everything out of the pick up transmission in the truck transmission case except: the input shaft and main shaft. All the other components inside, including the bearings, are the same.

I think the f350 is a T-18 Warner and the f600 is a 435NP Gear.

There should be lots in old scrap yards, just watch the length and diamater of the input shaft.

If they have aluminum shift covers, they are New Process transmissions. New Process was the most common transmission Ford used from the 60's to the 80's in their F series trucks with gas engines.
