How do I go back to the old 307 sotwares in my 2005 truck? I want to be able to really lay a cloud of smoke. These new softwares don't smoke enough. Would there be any bad side effects that i could come into, to going back to the old softwares? I have all the old softwares stored on my computer but i know they don't work because of the new dc updates. Is there a way to load some origonal dc software with the smarty so i can then download the 307 softwares? Also will this wipe stored info off my ecm like key counts or anything else?

no way back to the the old stuff, chrylser revisions dictate our or (your) software lwvwl.

Once Chrysler updated a customer's ecm with a new version then they can not use a current or older smarty software.

When we release a software it may be to the AJ chrysler software and when Chrysler decision to do a revison the new software become AK , next letter in sequence.

Hence when a customer gets a AK update and trys to use smarty with Chrsyler "AJ" software smarty says "unknown software" to protect the cutomers ecm from being update incorrectly.

clear as mud?

I guess there is not much since in keeping the gigabyte or two of compressed files that I have been accumulating for over a year now...

If I never used the Smarty or any downloader and have never gotten any flashes from DC and wanted to buy the Smarty but wanted the original software, could I get a hold of it?

some one might be able to send it to u. I have some of the softwares, but that is for a so4 and thats out of production. I don't know if it will work on a so6. Also emailing the files would be hard they are big.
