Ok, so I posted a thread way back about those old style long handle gear shift knobs big rigs used to have like in the 60s and 70s, before the selector switches were integrated into the knobs, and in the days of the 2 stick transmissions (main and aux). They were colorful and sometimes had metal flakes or glitter. Well I see um all the time in old photos of trucks or in videos of guys driving old rigs, anyone know where I can get one of these? I finally found 1 place on the internet that has them but only in blue, green and clear, I kinda wanted a solid color black or red. I know I'll have to a little modding to get it to fit my trucks gear shift stick. I don't know what's more elusive to find, this type of gear shift knob or the Eaton Fuller 5, 6, and 7 speed knob (my other choice), it's basically an Eaton Fuller knob with no air valve switches, see um all the time on passing UPS trucks, but just try to find online sellers that carry it! Thanks for any help guys!

E-mail me and I will send you a link for a page from the Fuller parts book so you know what to order... for your second choice.

This is the page that I sent him, testing to see if it will load for the rest of you now that I have converted the link.

It worked, even on my I-pad!!! Yay! :D

He wants item # 22, Fuller A-6905.

I tried to find the other style that he wanted, no luck. They used to be in every Truck Stop on display, I guess times have changed.

I even had them on a couple of trucks that I drove back in the day.

The popularity now of 13 and 18 speeds that require more functions has killed the demand. Plus the current Fuller knobs are very comfortable and easy on the hand.

They also don't turn you hand all black like the old ones used to do. :D:D
