I found a fellow in Penna. who has all the parts that I need for the oc3 and the oc4 that I have. The 3 has a blade on it and you would be surprised how much it can push. I built a set of forks for it to move logs around and it worked great. The 4 has a loader on it and is a 3 cyl diesel and weighs quite a bit more than the 3. I haven't used the 4 yet, but it runs good and has a broken hyd. hose at present. These are remarkable little crawlers with a narrow track with (60"). Pretty old and I don't overdue these machines! An older cat skinner told me not to add any weight to the rear of the cat, as so when the tracks spin, back up and repush. This way, you don't bust up everything. Tim
There used to be an Oliver parts place in Lewiston, Idaho... don't know if it's still open. I wish I could remember the name... I believe it was in the Lewiston Orchards.
We had an Oliver HG Cletrac with a small loader on it. The planetary steering system on it was the best for traction while scooping S*&t!!
Yes, the fellows name is Landis Zimmerman. Very good guy to do business with and he really knows these old tractors. Will have my parts soon, then will push some dirt for the heck of it. Thanks for the replies fellows. Tim
