Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting How many arms or ammo did you buy this year?

I always say, "I'm not going to watch" but I always seem to watch certain events.

One thing I've been so disappointed in is the basketball team. Ever since the Dream Team of '92, they've been a drastic disappointment.

Until today...

If they can keep this up, the killer instinct and everything that goes along with it... Man, will it make my day.

That and all the Golds that we'll rack up along the way in the other events.

GO USA!

I disagree. The best athletes from every sport should be sent to represent the country. If those athletes happen to be professionals, so be it.

We started using pros in basketball because other countries were using pros. Especially in basketball and a lot of those pros played on American Pro basketball teams.

I agree with Big Nasty non-pros for the Olympics!

Thats what the Olympics were based upon the BEST AMATURE ATHLETES.

Yes. And where do most of the "best" end up going in America? Where is the best place to pursue your passion for athleticism and get paid for it? I don't think it's wrong to allow Pros to play, they're the best this country has to offer, usually. They shouldn't get paid for it, obviously, but why shouldn't they get to play? Are they not patriots, too? And in their professional occupation, they are allowed to grow into the best..... I've seen and lived it first hand, so I can speak from experience. And there is such competition to be a pro, you truely have to have talent to achieve it. If you're not a professional, not many can afford to work for a living and still maintain thier physical ability. How can a working man(or woman!!) take off for several weeks to attend the Olympic competitions and keep his job? Unless you are a paid, professional, athlete... . JMO.
