Hello! I need some help in finding a reputable shop in the Omaha area to perform some work on my beautiful Ram #ad

Figured I would ask here first since this site has more information then I know what to do with #ad

Planned work: JRE 4" Exhaust installed, VA CPC, Autometer boost and pyro gauges (Ultralight series in a pillar mount)
Thats all I plan to do this summer.....

But I feel the horspower bug coming on strong #ad

MMMMust resist temptation! #ad

Anyhow anyone got some recommendations?
I doubt Woodhouse (a awesome dealership in Blair, NE) would wanna install these upgrades for me #ad

Wow! Look at that post count fly! HVAC here I come! #ad

------------------
  • 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 HD 4x4 SLT Auto Regular cab Cummins Turbo Diesel 4. 10 gear ratio
  • Patriot Blue Pearl Coat, Agate interior, Leather seats
  • EVERY option available exept for heated seats.
  • LT265/75r16E tires. . planned 4" Lift and 35" Super Swamper SSR.
  • In the VERY near future VA CPC, JRE 4" Exhaust, and Autometer Ultra-Lite Boost and Pyro Gauges

I'll bet Woodhouse would have no problem doing the exhaust and guages for you. Plug the warranty voiding VA #ad
in yourself at home, it takes all of five minutes.

HVAC, you better get your a@# posting, this dude is on a mission #ad

'00 2500 reg cab LB 4x4, 5spd, LSD, Van Aaken, 275 injectors, regulator boost fooler w/elbow, combo boost/egt guage, line-x, alumasport diamond toolbox, vernier idle controler, cold front, Warn front receiver, ventvisors and stepguards by autoventshade, OEM foglights, Super H headlight bulbs, my own "brite box", hide-a-hook, loadsaver, G-tech, name a factory option - I don't have it!

"Diesel Specialties of Omaha", 13325 'B' St, 402-330-0580 (a Bosch dealer) in the Millard suburbs might do that kind of work. I've had my exhaust work done at Scheid (Effingham, IL) while there at rallys, and the rest myself. Diesel Injection will do injectors and boxes but they're biased towards their vendors (Banks in particular). But they'd likely do whatever you asked.

[edit]
I had the wrong company name! Must have been a brain fart.

Wow a person from NE! #ad
I know this ain't the right forum but is there a TDR chapter around here? Or you about the only one?

When I was surfin your website a few days ago I thought to myself that looked like Omaha in the pictures then I noticed the NE plates #ad

I could proably do it all myself (I went to Denver Automotive and Diesel College for 21 months) but I make enough money to have someone else do it #ad

Anyhow I will look into that shop. Have you heard anything or had experience with Ultimate Truck that is in Millard? Thx

*Wish racking up HP was as easy as racking up the post count!* #ad

Hey Moderator! Feel free to move this to "Regional".

Ultimate Truck is a good place to order parts but so far everything they've ever done for me they've screwed up in one way or another. The most recent being my Warn 4X steps -- they welded one of my wiring harnesses between the step frame and the truck frame. I was trying to figure out why I had shorts and my fuses kept blowing for months before the wires completely cut and I tracked it down. The worst was when they installed new shocks in my old 2wd Dodge Cummins and they didn't bother use the correct mounting hardware -- causing the "A" arms to get beat to heck nearly necessitating a $1000+ replacement. It did ruin the shocks.

AMA is a good place to order parts but as for installing they're just as bad -- I've had to redo everything they do also. Lights mounted upside down, topper cross drilled ruining the bed and topper, wrenches bouncing around in my engine compartment, grill guard bolts cross threaded ruining the grill guard, wiring exposed, ...

It sucks, I'm with you -- I make enough money to pay someone else but my experience is well over 90% of the time I have to redo it to get it right. I've given up on letting someone else touch my truck. I just log it as "therapy" time. Expensive as it is it's cheaper then a shrink.

If you get stuck give me a call (e-mail my private address for my phone nbr). We'll schedule a "BOMB"day.

I've been trying to get a chapter started but my attempts keep fizzling out. Right now I'm hoping to put together a "Midwest TDR" and an initial get-together for the Father's day weekend.

Woodhouse has been a great dealer (whatever you do don't trust Jim's Dodge). But they're getting a little leery of BOMBed trucks. My ECM won't read and they told me I had to leave it there a few days while they disconnected all my "accessories" to identify the problem. I'm hoping that cut wiring harness (thanks Ultimate Truck) was the cause of the blown ECM i/o port.
