I could give you advice on how to change the shift points, but the best advice would be to call bd-power and ask the original designers of your trans.
How do you like the new trans? I have had mine for about three months and 4,500 miles beating the heck out of it pulling my camper and boat doubled up with the power goodies in my signature. Man when it goes into lockup there is nothing I can do to slip the TC, the truck just moves everything down the road, and thats in OD. The fluid coupleing from take off is great, no more haveing to rev the **** out of the engine just to get things rolling.
When I say beating the heck out of the transmission I'am referring to a 68 mile stretch of road where I have to stop or slow down and turn 9 times then speed back up to 70 MPH. Thats like stopping and raceing every 7. 5 miles with 21,000 pounds of weight. This is one way then I have to come back the same way for a total of 18 stops and turns in 136 miles. Talk about poor fuel mileage, the surpriseing thing is there is only about a two miles per gallon difference. EDIT:: I run this stretch of road every weekend from the first weekend in May through Sept and some years into Oct. That's like 20+ times a year.
Sorry, I got off on my own rambleings, the question is how do you like the new trans.
