engine is out of the truck... can't remember which fuel line is the send and which is the return... we can trace them back to the tank, but don't know which is which!

help? :)

The 3/8" ID line is the supply and the 5/16" ID line is the return. If you have the engine out of the truck, now is the time to replace the lines with new rubber, get rid of all the transistions (from steel to braid to blaaa) I replaced 90% of my return line (up to tank) and got rid of a bunch of problems. Best fuel line Ive found is: http://www.tridentmarine.com/stage/fuel.htm line type #365

Theyre right in my area, I picked up 20' of each. Real nice people. . They`ll custom cut and ship, not sure on a minimum cut tho. . hmm

good luck with that reinstall.

The line on your tank module that is furthest back, towards the back of the truck should be supply. I would recommend to use some compressed air and see what line makes bubbles. :D

Just look at the lines into the injector pump. The return line goes behind the pump, across the top of the lift pump.

And you're right. My 94 "had" the same size lines. Not any more. And the lift pump doesn't have to pull the full any more either. That's fixed also.
