I followed the story of a guy that was supposed to be "THE ANSWER!" for Powerstrokes. A lot of people were believing in him and sent him parts off their trucks and stuff. His name was Kim Lux, and he did talk a convincing story for a while. Does anybody know whatever happend to that whole thing?

I don't know what happened. I followed that story closely when I had my Ford and spent some time on TDS, even though I didn't have the problem he claimed to be able to fix. He was supposedly working on a kit to fix the injector cackle, but I don't think it ever made it to market.

There for a while he was like a god to some stroke owners but as time went by people started asking more questions, like "Wheres my parts!!" I guess people took parts off their Powerstrokes and sent them to him and some had been down over 4 months waiting, when I quit reading the forum for a while. I was just curious what happened.

Mine never had the problem. If it did, I couldn't hear it. I put 80,000 trouble free miles on that truck before I went back to Dodge.

It usually pays to be very cautious of "miracal solutions" offered by individuals - large, well funded outfits with lots of expert staff often display great difficulty in arriving at products that have gone thru the multitudes of test and analysis that assure they WILL provide the results promised, and fully satisfy the greatest percentage of expectant buyers - and if NOT, then be able and willing to make satisfactory adjustments...



*I* sure wouldn't want to try it with some product I "developed" out in my garage!
