Well after a 3 MONTH wait, i finally got it. The so called "INLINE FILTER" from Banks. They said that it would solve my problem of daily P0336 codes, stalling and rough idle. Low and behold, still the same d#*n problems. With Banks unhooked, and running "stock" all problems disappeared. I can't seem to be able to figure out if it is the wiring harness, or the box. Going to try installing the by-pass switch tomorrow. Hope I can narrow it down that way. I have the roctek set @ stock. TIA... Scott

Scott I have the Banks six gun and also installed the roctech sensor. I was getting p0336 codes also with the stock sensor though not daily. My motive for installing the roctech was fuel economy. So far no big change, how about you? When I had my stock sensor replaced at the dealer he said Banks boxes had been knocking the sensors out. My installer says no way. I am in the middle clueless. The dealer didnt charge me for the replacement, then called 2 weeks later asking for $57. 00 since it was supposed to be a $100 deductible. Repair was only 57. I'd be interested in new developements on your situation.

My recommendation would be to ebay the Banks stuff, and get a Juice w/ Attitude if you don't mind running a pressure box. It has all the same safety features the six-gun has, and it has a monitor to tell you when it's defueling, unlike the Banks.

If you want to get a way from pressure and get a box you'll never outgrow, get the TST PMCR. It has a simple display, but will make all the power you'll ever want. I have never thrown a code with mine.

Your other non-pressure choices would be the BD X-power or the VA C3. 2.

If you invested in the PDA setup, I guess keep after Banks Customer Service. Maybe they'll send you a new box and harness to try. I would still recommend a brand change, though.

Scott ,If you find your way up to Mn Bring it here,One area that Has help is wait to Start,Some owners turn the key right to ignition, Try turn the key wait 1 to 2 seconds than start,When I was on the Dyno we had to paint the Crank wheel to get the magnetic flied for the Dyno "Yep" code,we clean it up everything was find,Also the ECM uses the CMP/CKP on the start, once running the ECM switch to the CKP as the Primary.

You should NOT have to wait for the wait to start light to go off! If your Banks installer can not make the system work remove it and get your refund End of story.

After blowing the P0336 code again this morning, I installed the bypass plug. Not a problem since that time. I am guessing it is the box itself, but will wait to see if I have any problems at cold start in the morning. Scott
