I was just wondering how and what parts are our e-brakes consist of? Does it incorporate the disc or is it a internal drum built in like chevy and gm uses? I'm thinking and hoping it is caliper incorporated so when replacing the rotors, it doesn't cost $2-300 a piece for them. Anyone that has done a rear rotor a brake job let me know how they work? Thanks

The rear service brakes and parking brakes are 2 different assemblies. The service brake uses a caliper, just like the front brakes. The parking brakes use a simple drum style shoe arrangment acting on the center of the rear rotor which was fashioned into a brake drum. I believe the durm and rotor is one piece. Many newer vehicles are built like this.
