Ok guys... I am about tired of the drum brakes that just plane out DON'T WORK!!

I remember seeing a kit on here about 6 months in which you can replace your rear axle with one that has disk brakes. Does anybody have any idea whom the vendor was?

Also, is there a way to just replace the brakes, or will I have to replace the entire axle? How about the ABS stuff? My truck has RW-ABS. Will my abs just not work, or will it connect into the new breaks?

I've never done an overhaul like this... but I am ready to start researching everything so that I can do it...

Thanks Everyone,

Kev

Kev... Suggest you include Sam Peterson [I believe that is his last name] in your discussions. . he is the brake guru in the northwest. . sorry I don't have a link to him

Trust me... . Sam's at the top of my list.

Once I can find out what all I need as far as replacing the brakes... I am going to give Sam a call and see if I can use a little bit of his expertise to insure I get the right equipment.
