I am also a contractor and purchased mine with business link, I only did it to finance it under my company name, its also nice if I need work done I get 1st priority and a loaner vehicle from my dealer and its true that there are certain dealerships who are part of business link oh I also got 500. 00 rebate.

My expierence with businness link: At 2300 miles the clutch went out of my new '07 C&C, so I took it to a business link dealer(didn't buy from them, but they signed me up for program any way)and when I got there I was told that their truck/diesel mechanic was off sick and had been for a while. They had no idea when he'd be back! I called the dealer I bought the truck from and they said bring it right in(non business link dealer). This was a thursday @4:00 and I figured I'd be without a truck until the middle of the following week. They made the repairs in 24 hrs. !!! Now thats service. Who needs business link .

That's great service. Question, why did the clutch go out so quick? Surely, it didn't wear out. They normally don't warranty clutches very long. I forgot how many miles or time.

Grizzly,

There have been problems with the clutches on '06 & '07 models from my understanding. All part numbers had been superceeded from the original numbers. DC replaced the flywheel, ppa, disc, bearings and all hardware. I thought maybe the step on the flywheel was machined wrong, but the dealer tells me the problem is in the ppa. I wonder why DC would go to the expenes of replacing the flywheel if nothing was wrong with it. Jim

Is there a recall on the 06 and 07 clutches. I've never know Dodge to have problems with clutches before, short of wearing out at about 150K. Are the 05's okay as far as know? I'm glad the dealer took care of you that quick. :)
