Onan portable valve lash

My Onan owners manual tells me the valve lash, but doesn't say if it is hot or cold. It's a Pro6000E portable with a Elite E140H engine (14 hp)



any ideas?

All modern engines specs are cold. I don't ever recall of a hot spec since the 50's.

the only thing I ever set valves on is my race cars. all the cam grinders I use spec. hot hot specs.



will set the genset cold.

I have a bigger Onan but I believe the gap is set cold.
