I would like an onboard air system symilar to what the big rigs have. I want to get air ride suspension, air horns, and Air ride seats would be nice too. Anyone know what kind of components would be needed to work all this out, onje compressor only if possible.

Trying to put a Cummins air system is quite a problem. The cost of the parts is around $2500, then you have to modifiy the steering, and motor mounts.

Call Kilby Onboardair.com

He has a kit for your truck that does what you want. I have it on mine and it handles my air bags with auto level valves, the air horns, my air jack, impacts and die grinders. You can get the parts or whole kit, I have mine set up a little differently then Kilby shows but it probably is one of the best things I have done to my truck.

IT utilizes a York Air compressor, in many regards the best compressor you can use.

Even the big dog Oasis air compressor is an electric motor connected to a york.

IF you want good prices on electric compressors, check out mini trucker type sites like suicidedoors.com

Most of these sites deal with Viair, one of the best electric compressors on the market.

The only reason I don't have a Kilby system is the lack of a serpentine pulley for the york.
