Got my 370's in and they are great. One thing I noticed was after the install there was a little diesel around the nut from bleeding them and on one of them (#4) there were little bubbles coming up (while running) from around the nut that holds them in, almost like there is a slight compression leak. Is this normal? I torqued them all to 44 lbs. like the instructions said.

Thanks,

Lonnie

Sounds like a compression leak, you might have some contamination causing an imperfect seal. You might just have to pull the injector and clean. Resist the temptation to bend the fuel line out of the way.

Thanks Bill,

That's kind of what I thought also. I looked at trying to pull it without removing the whole line system & really didn't think it would work either.

Lonnie;

I had the same problem after installing my 370s this weekend. I disconnected the fuel line from the leaking #3 injector and took down the fuel line looms which secured it, gaining enough mobility to get a socket over the injector without bending the line. Sure enough, I had crud in the injector well which I removed with a bronze pistol cleaning brush.

It all went together easily and the injector leak was cured, but I noticed that #2 and #4 are now leaking :mad:

Oh well, I have an AFC spring kit to install; it will be a good time to remove the entire line assembly and clean ALL the injector bores.
