The salesman I talked to at Piers told me I should adjust the shift cable for later shifts after I put the spring kit in. He said it would rev further, (which it does), and later, higher RPM shifts with higher line pressure would result in less slippage. Makes sense, has anyone done yet? Haven't heard anything about it in the GSK posts. He said start with an 1/8" or so move on the cable adjustment & see what happens. Then fine tune it to your liking. I happy as is so far, but want to take full advantage of it.

I'd like to know how to do the same thing on mine. At WOT, it takes the transmission forever to shift, it is like it sits there at 2700 RPM for what seems like hours, how do I get it to shift instead of just sitting there?? My GSK goes in in 2 weeks, I need to do something about it before then.

I've been fooling around with my TV cable adjustment since Sunday ... seemd like I have it just about where I want it ... I'm getting good solid shifts right at 2700 or so . . I need to plug the scanner in to see exactly where I'm at ... . started with zero slack . . and now have just a bit of slack in the cable ... I'm right at 3 clicks from zero now ... and it FLYS!
