I finally have the gauge working. Just wanted to verify some of my settings with those of you who are familier with the gauge.
Boost range I set at 40 bar on th gauge and it seems to read right. 17 LBS boost on hard acceleration.
Egt I set the THR option to 1000 That made it read around 250 at idle. I drove about a mile and a half accelerating and decelerating and got it almost to 800. I would assume these are fairly normal numbers for a stock truck with an ez.
I called the folks i bought it from. they were not real helpful. They gave me the number for spa technique and i spoke with a very helpful british sounding gentleman.
Just in case anyone is wondering. the new style has eyes on the end of the thermocouple wires and on the end of the yellow wire. bolt red to red and yellow to yellow. then on the connector plugginh into the amplifier yellow is positive and red is negative.
I hope someone will know if i have the parameters set up right for my gauge?
