Autometer Phantom 0-60 boost - where?

Do you guys fill up with fuel, then put it in? Or put it in, then fuel up? Also, it doesn't seem like we need a filter with our trucks, as opposed to cars with their tiny fuel apertures.

I ALWAYS add the additive before I fill the tank. I feel it gets mixed up better this way.

I started doing it this way when I read on an additive's label once: for best results add to a near empty fuel tank, then fill up.

It may not make any difference really.

Aside from the filler neck, it doesn't matter when you add the additive. The fuel systems on these trucks return so much fuel that the fuel gets pretty mixed up in as little as 10 minutes.

So unless you want to wash the additive down the filler neck when you refuel, don't worry about the mixing.

Doh! I meant to say, do you guys use a FUNNEL to add the Stanadyne, not a "filter". But it looks like you guys just dump in the right amount, then wash it down with some diesel fuel.

Thanks for all the replies!

Next Question Please?

I don't want to come across as a jerk, but I hope your next question won't be:

"Which hand do you guys use to remove the fuel cap when putting Stanadyne in your tank?"

I mean what's with all the detailed questions about adding fuel additive to the tank? Does it really seem that complicated?
