I left out around 10:00 am this morning for S&S Tire in Lexington, KY for four new P265/50R20 Goodyear Fortera HL’s for the wife’s 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

Naturally.....after arriving there somewhere around 11:15, I got a text message requesting my services at 11:30 for delivering a single HOT run to our Marietta, GA Retail store for a custom order trailer.

The trailer is a 2020 GatorMade 25’ straight deck. It has RideWell air suspension (Firestone), 12k electric over hydraulic disc brake axles  , and 14 ply tire upgrade. Since it’s an Elite model, it comes with a spare, work light, fire extinguisher, and safety triangles.

The unusual part is it’s a straightdeck only...no provision for loading ramps, no rub rails, no stake pockets, and no provisions for any sliding tie down winches underneath.

Not sure what it’s intended purpose or use is.....but it’s the first one without loading ramps, rub rails, stake pockets, and sliding winches I’ve ever seen produced.

Neat piece. Do you have any details on the airbag suspension and it’s air supply? Are there large tanks you fill in reserve?
It is self contained. The tool box in front of the axles in pic #2 and #3 above contain the deep cycle battery and pump.

I set my ITBC to Heavy Electric 5.0 and it threw me through the windshield. Before leaving the lot, I tweaked it down to 2.0......Those Dexter axles with EOH are awesome!

Greg,

That's one bad arsenal trailer. I'd love that suspension setup on my Mobile Suites, cept'n singles instead of duals.

Have fun going Atlanta. I was stationed in Fayetteville NC and Washington DC, so used to go through Atlanta a lot.

I agree likely a comm or genset permanently installed. When we renovated Andrew's AFB control tower, FAA actually had an air traffic control tower permanently mounted on a similar type trailer.

Cheers and be safe, Ron

Well.......I noticed the salesman’s initials on the invoice and decided I’d call him today and get the skinny.

And I agree 100% with @jhenderson .....without the stake pockets, rub rails, and sliding ratchet mounts, it will have a limited target audience for resale. On the other hand.....EOH and air ride may overcome that....especially if someone is handy in the welding arena!

Any of you guys want to continue guessing? I’ll wait a little while longer for some more results / guesses.

Make a pretty nice base for a tiny house.

Little too nice.

So I'm sticking with Industial Conex or Tiny House on steroids.
