One Ton Short Bed?

Normally, I lurk over in the second gen area. but it looks like we may be replacing the office's Chevy 6. 5 shortbed lemon. The catch is that we will probably have to re-use the service body.



So, expiring minds want to know: Does Dodge make a Quad Cab 1 ton with a short bed in 4x4?

Yes, Dodge does make a 3500 Quad Cab, 4x4, short box. Go to the Dodge web site to configure a truck:

You need to pull the lemon next to the new one, the wheel centerline is about 3" closer to the cab on the dodge than on the cheby, by eyeball estimate at least.

Wasn't that first applied to Deusenbergs? They were worth the wait, though.

A local here in Phoenix through a Chevy stepside box on his 1500 Dodge years ago. There was some modification needed to get it done, but the result does look nice. Very unique truck.
