I remember a few years back it was mentioned in posts here that there was a mopar truck club that posted the mopar service manuals on there site but i cant find in in our search. Any one remember.

I looked at it a few years ago but had dialup and couldnt download it :mad

Mabey they took it down cause copyrite laws?

I was able to get the '06 manual but it took a long time to download. Now that they aren't posted anymore, I am glad I got it.

I got them all a while back... I also have a 2001 manual!

There is no way to email them... the one was around 80MB in size. The 2005/2006 manuals are 180MB in a zipfile!

I'm surprised they lasted this long...

Anyone know if the 08 Manual for the Cab and Chassis are out yet... . I'd be happy to share the cost of a CD with someone...

I got a bunch of PMs asking to burn these... I don't have time.

I know that some entrepreneur copied these same files and is selling them on fleabay for like $5 shipped, and no its not me!

I can set up FTP access to my company's website if anyone is willing to 'temporarily' upload any of the manuals.

Guys can PM me to get the address.

there is alot of information right on he Dodge bodybuilder web site. While it no service manual, it might be helpfull.

check it out.

I'm going to check and see if my dealer can get a manual for my '07.

I am wondering about changing my gear ratio or if I should add a Gearvendor over/under drive. I currently have 3. 73. I know dodge offers a 3. 55. I got an estimate of $3300. 00. That is about the same price for a gear vendor. Which one is better?

Badger,

I see you are new, with only two posts so far. You started this question in the wrong place. You wanted to start a new "thread". This thread deals with on-line repair manuals, and your question doesn't involve that.

Here's how to do what you want:

1. Go to the appropriate forum, for example the "3rd Generation Ram Forum (NO engine/transmission discussions)"

2. At the top of the thread listing, at the left, is a small "button" labeled, "NEW THREAD". Click on that.

3. This will send you to a new page where you can enter your thread subject and the first post.

By the way, my opinion is that you should go with the overdrive transmission instead of changing differential ratios, especially if you have a 4WD with two differentials.

I have the U. S. Gear overdrive and I like it a lot. If you get a GearVendors you cannot use it in 4WD. Also, the GearVendors advertising is misleading. They do not make an underdrive, only an overdrive. They justify calling it an underdrive because 2nd gear overdrive is the same as 3rd gear underdrive.

Welcome aboard.

Loren
