Can anyone recommend a dealer with a website for factory parts and or a good place to buy a borgeson steering shaft for my '92 below full retail? I hate to be cheap, but $200 is $200... . I'm in need of a speedo head and all the weatherstripping around the left and right windows. Any ideas? My local Chrysler dealer has been totally useless every time I've needed a part or tool in the past... . Thanks, --Todd

The only one I have experience with is Tenafly Dodge and they are batting . 500, so I would think twice before using them again.

Details! I am considering this route and want to know before I spend my hard earned money.

Thanks....

I knew I could depend on you guys! I appreciate the help. I'll let you know how things work out. Also if anyone is interested, I found a guy in Nebraska that works in an injection shop and competes with a 1st gen sled puller that rebuilt my pump with a few upgrades and sold me a set of larger injectors for $700 which I thought was pretty good since a stock rebuild alone was $650 here locally... . --Todd

Long Post

11 Jan. Ordered fuel gage sending unit for $36. 85 + shipping. Received confirmation email with order #, looks auto-generated. Paid with Visa debit card.

14 Jan. Checking Account debited by Tenafly for $47. 50

17 Jan. Received a “Thanks for your order” email from Tenafly (Tenafly Parts Manager), stating “please note order total and shipping #” both were left out. Replayed to this email requesting left out info.

18 Jan. Second reply to above email requesting left out info.

19 Jan. Totally new email sent, send info ASAP!

20 Jan. Reply from Tenafly to above email with USPS ship # (nothing else). Checked status with USPS, status is “electronic notification of intent to ship received 19 Jan. ” nothing else.

21 Jan. No change or update to shipping status.

22 Jan. No change or update to shipping status Saturday morning, left complaint on Owner of Tenaflys voice mail before lunch.

22 Jan. Package delivered Saturday afternoon, left disregard message on voice mail of above person.

24 Jan. Email from Tenafly, with cut and paste of delivery notice from USPS web site.

Gripes

1 All correspondence from Tenafly was without any human quality to it. At no time was there an acknowledgement of screw up or apology.

2 Debit of account 4 days before item was shipped, item only shipped after I became a squeaky wheel.

3 Paid $10. 85 for glorified USPS first class postage, that provides no in route status updates, just a delivery notice. $10. 85 would have paid for shipping by UPS or FedEx.

Thanks again guys...

Blue, you were right, I got the shaft and a rag joint shipped for the same price Borgeson wanted for just the shaft before freight...

I ordered my weatherstrip from Bremerton Dodge, first link on the site you gave me Paychk, thanks. Looks like about $100 per side, I just ordered the left side to start. They want $300 and some-odd dollars for an instrument cluster. Can't you just order a head?? Email me at rbrady@atozbroadband for my pump builder in Omaha's info, I finally got it to ARhine- sorry I was so slow... --Todd
